Swim Team Families,

This email is intended for YMCA facility members, if you do not have a facility membership with the Y, please disregard.

During our pool closure, full facility members holding the following membership types may use other Channel Islands YMCA facilities for lap swim during the Ventura YMCA's pool closure in December:

• Teen Membership (must be for swim team swimmer)
• Two-Person Family (one of the two "active" individuals must be the swim team swimmer)
• Family members

A yellow swim band must be worn by each swimmer under the age of 12 years old while using the pool for open swim at any Channel Island YMCA facility. In an effort to ensure we follow our requirements for administering a swim test, your swim team participant may register for a FREE swim test on Friday, December 6th at 5:15 pm.

Once a swim test is completed and a yellow band is obtained, your swimmer will be permitted to swim in our pools outside of practice times without an adult in the water.
